SEASON ONE

A Journey Toward Re-pairing

In October 2022, the Northeastern Minnesota Synod of the ELCA announced a historic reparation gift of $185,400 + $100 + $1,100 to the Minnesota Chippewa Tribe. This podcast season explores the deep theological, historical, and relational significance behind this act of "re-pairing"—the bringing back together of that which was violently separated. Hosted by Rev. Dr. Matthew Cobb, the season features honest conversations between Indigenous Ojibwe people and descendants of European settlers as they grapple with their shared history on these lands.
